Bonjour guys ! Today, I want to tell you a story…

« Once upon a time there lived in a certain village a little country girl, the prettiest creature who was ever seen « ,( The Little Red Riding Hood, Charles Perrault, 1697 ).

I don’t have the prevention to say that I am the prettiest creature in the world, but I am a country girl living in the middle of nowhere, and there is this wood in which I love to walk in since I am a child. My grandma and I used to walk without any purpose, just walking between the trees, enjoying the fresh air and the quiet.

As a child, I had a lot of imagination, and I liked to create stories. Sometimes I was supposed to get married, but my fiancé was killed during the Secession War ( thank you Gone with the Wind ). Some other times I was an orphan, welcomed by an old woman who took care of me ( my grandma played the role of the old lady )… I’ve invented many more stories, but reality always catches you right ?

Now I’ve grown up, and my grandma doesn’t come walking with me anymore. I walk alone. But I’m not afraid of the wolf, he won’t trapped me. During one of my ride, the wolf watched me, and took pictures of me. He’s not as bad as everyone says. Actually, I played with him, with the eye of his camera. I wasn’t the pray, I was the star. The wolf and I decided to share those photos to rewrite the story. In this story, the little girl is not stupid and the wolf is not mean. In this story, the girl was just a girl, and she was in the woods with her friend, the wolf.

The main piece of this look is the pair of red leather Tods’ Gomminos. I’ve bought them 2 years ago in Roma, Via dei Condotti. I wanted a pair of Tods for months, but it’s quite expensive. Since the brand is Italian and the shoes made in Italy, I’ve saved money to buy them during my trip, knowing that they will be less expensive, even though I’ve paid 290E. They are so comfortable, it feels like slippers. Loafers are my « go to  » pair of shoes, I have several pairs in different shades. It’s chic, and you can wear them with everything. This pair of shoes is the most expensive I have, but it’s very high quality, and I don’t regret the investment.

This is a Replay pair of jeans, and even if I prefer wearing pants I have to admit that they are stretchy and comfy. They were 40% of, which means that instead of 125E, I bought them for 75E. No need to say that I didn’t hesitate for a sec ! Plus, I didn’t have any pair of jeans in this color. The fabric is thick still not heavy, the seams are well finished, the texture of the jean is not rough… Only good arguments really. Levi’s and Replay are definitely my favorite brands when it comes to jeans.

 

 

The black top is from Zara. I bought it 3 years ago for less than 20E. It’s very simple, expect for the peplum at the bottom. This is the reason why I bought it. It’s black, so it goes with everything, and the bottom gives a feminine touch to the outfit. Not to mention that it’s fun to wear : you can turn and it flies !

 

Well, it’s time to leave my friend the wolf and to come back home. My grandma is waiting for me, and I don’t want to be late like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderlands. But that is another story… Until then, let yourself be carried by the magic of imagination. It may seem childish, but sometimes it feels good to create any life that you want, to be anyone you want to be, and to believe that you will live happily ever after.
